Take the guided tour it’s a must, very interesting even as a South African I found in very educational. A bit sad that it is not being maintained.

Oldest building in Cape Town with plenty of history. Watch the daily parade and cannon show, be sure to follow their guided walks. 50rand entry fee.

Nice place to visit, with a few modern touches of paint. Pity most of the places were under renovations at the end of 2015. Hoping for the best ahead.
