I always prefer to go local but there's a DQ across the street that won't take as long or mess up my order every time. Their grasshopper was just vanilla ice cream with cookies and no mint.

I like this place. It has a wonderful, neighborhood ice cream shop feel and is a perfect way to enjoy an evening treat after a warm, Iowa summer day.

Too pricy for it's "Mom and Pop" attitude. $5.00 for a cheeseburger? $3.50 for a side of onion rings? No thanks. Ice cream is Sara Ann brand. At least a bottled water is only $1.
