Habitat HQ is a clean, modern hostel in St Kilda that should be your first choice if you're driving, but there are better options if you don't have a car and want to be a little closer to the action.

After a year of travelling in Oz I can tell you,this hostel is the nicest and cleanest one!If running out of money,but still hungry,catch the tram to town and take a rest at Tokui Sushi, 2 AUD each.

The money goes further if you buy your grog at the bottle shop, and then drink with your friends in the courtyard.
