Rustic facade and the interiors are fairly tastefully quirky and industrial. Clean rooms. Staff nice and they offer tours for Apo Island and other snorkeling spots. Don't expect good breakfast though.

The place was awesome if you are traveling alone. The ambiance is very hip and modern. Although breakfast was not great, good thing there were cafes near by. Friendly staff btw. new and affordable!

Try not to leave bottles unattended as there have been two instances where bottles just randomly fell, crashed into pieces on the floor near the reception area.

The Flying Fish Hostel was designed well, consistently, organized and clean! In my opinion, it is of the brutalist type of Architecture. The wifi here is pretty quick as wifi goes in the Philippines.

Really nice hostel, everything has been thought about. Great beds, staff, showed and WiFi, one of the better hostles in Asia, it's new but I highly recommend
