Clean, well-maintained, registered historic (late 19th C). Comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Drawback: no in-room coffee; hot beverages available on the sky-lit second floor sitting area. WELL worth $$$

Spokane is a major railroad hub. Trains can be heard during the night all over town; Montvale is no exception. Pack earplugs.
