Great place to watch sunsets in Punta Gorda. Bring bug spray, the no-see-ums are bad! There's a walkway through mangroves too. Loads of cool crabs and birds to see here. Boat ramp available.

The park is a WONDERFUL place to watch a sun set & stroll along the water front. On Thursdays the locals come out to play their instruments & sing in various groupings through out the park.

The kids will love the big fenced-in playground at Gilchrist Park where they can keep busy for hours right alongside the beautiful Peace River.
