As of 2018, a lifeguard told me, the remains of Red Reef are covered in sand. Neither the fish nor I could find them this year. Lovely water, though.

This beach is one of my favorites, for sure. The reef has tons of fish, and it is very beautiful there.

Perfect for a walk! It's quieter here, in certain spots, than most other stretches of the beach. So pretty, but be careful swimming when the undertow is strong - you could hurt yourself on the reef!

Beautiful beach. Clean facilites. Board walk. Lots of parking (not free). Open 8am-10pm every day. Rentable chairs and cabanas. Charcoal grills and picnic tables.

Best of Broward 2013- Best Snorkeling Spot: Red Reef Park. Who need the Great Barrier Reef when you have Red Reef Park teaming with eels, sea horses, brain coral and clownfish? And its down the street

Very nice beach. Not crowded and the park area was very pretty. Had a really relaxing day. Very expensive parking. $18 for a day if you don't have a season pass.

One of the most beautiful places to snorkel or dive. Red Reef State Park is teeming with aquatic life - fire coral, sharks, and reef fish. Bring your snorkel gear and some sunscreen!

Know for the boulders dropped off coast, artificial reefs for local fish, this park has a monument to Donald Capron, the man who was instrumental in preserving Boca's coast for parks & public use

Best Beach for families in Boca Raton - super snorkeling, ample parking (get the annual beach pass from the Community Center at Boca Raton for $40) - go early, especially on Saturdays.
