Coaches on arrival boards are quite unclear. Could use some improvement

There is a charity (RSPCA) bookstall outside Greggs where you can pick up a book for your commute.

Fairly big but well-organised. Has free wifi and classical music playing throughout. It gets really cold in winter though.

Looking for toilet? I prefer the one that located in National Express's waiting room instead of in bus station main hall.

The car park near the bus station is like the bomb site. I used in London in 1986

Don't use the toilets in the national express area, they cost. Use the ones in the main area as they are free!!

If you've got time, go up to the market to grab food instead of relying on Greggs. Far more choice at brr prices

Don't rely on any of the services to get you somewhere on time, regardless of their timetables and 'charters'

If you've got a few minutes before your bus, pop into the coach station side to pumpkin cafe for a freshly ground coffee, made with real love!

If it's an early morning and your hungry, go to Greggs - bacon sandwich and a hot drink to take out; £1.99!
