On the northern side of the mosque, there is a large arch which is known as the Pearl Arch, around this arch one of the Quran's surahs was in a form of crescent in the Thuluth script.

An exquisite example of Zandieh era architecture, usually overlooked courtesy of the much more famous mosques in Isfahan and Yazd. Definitely worth a visit.

Shabestan (prayer hall) contains 48 monolithic pillars carved in spirals which are a characteristic of the Zand period. Prior to using stone pillars, very thick walls were used to hold the roof up.

The Minbar in the hall is cut from a solid piece of green marble with a flight of 14 steps and is considered to be one of the masterpieces of the Zand period.

Mihrab is built in a wall to show the direction to Mecca. The place imam prays should be lower than all the other worshipers. This Mihrab is adorned by magnificent tile work.
