Lots of history in a great scenery, very much worth a visit under all weather conditions. They have some Corona restrictions on walkways but are generally open.

The collection that showcases 700 years of Danish history is well-curated. Marvellous to look at and the castle is a feast for the eyes.

If you walk there from the station, you will have and excellent view over the lake. The great garden bhind the castle is also worth a wlak.

In summertime, take a boat trip on the lake to see the castle from every angle. By the way, I got married in the church inside the castle.
