Oldest intact Civil War monument. Built on hallowed ground by soldiers from the fight just 6 months after the battle in 1863.

When the battlefield is closed, you can park here and walk around the battlefield until sunset.

There is a trail in the back left corner that leads to where General Rosecrans saw his friend killed right beside him in battle. (400 yards/365 meters)
