There are incredibly scenic views and grounds that are very walkable. Entry was free and parking is ample. You might have to park down by the lake and walk-up, but the hill is not too steep.

To come here is to truly explore upstate’s incredible history and its appreciation of the arts. Come see the home that Frederic Church built in all its amazing glory. The guided tour is worth it.

Highly instagrammable spot about 15 minutes from Hudson. Book a tour of Olana in advance, or take in the grounds with a picturesque view.

Park at the entrance and walk up around the lake for picturesque views and continue up to the Olana.

Sadley, the house is closed Monday. No tours. The grounds are beautiful.

While you may not be able to take photos inside the mansion, the colorful exterior of the mansion as well as the grounds is available for great photo shoots.
