The Buzz N’ Bee Latte was delicious and so were the biscuits. Service could have been a lot better as well as speed. The aesthetics were cute though, I’d come back on a weekday!

The Bitches say: A-. Brunch doesn’t have to have full table service to be epic in terms of experience and food. Bayou does everything right.

The food is really good (I like the gumbo and mac & cheese), and they have great coffee too (1 free refill on drip coffee if you eat in!). Good place to do work during the day.

As close to NOLA as you can get in DC. Good coffee too.

Pretty lively, not overly crowded, and the beignets are beignets: gotta like that! Fine place to go with a laptop. Many of the customers are talking business/acting professional. Abita on tap.

This beloved Southern bakery offers its cocoa for $4.95. The Bayou Hot Chocolate is made with 64 percent Valrhona chocolate and Trickling Springs milk.
