Skagen is my hometown so this is on top of my list. The beer is mostly variations of lager and good seasonals. Not a beer geek hangout, its mostly about the early bird dinnercrowd. Lovely building.

Because I consider Skagen my hometown, Skagen Bryghus makes me quite proud. It is a lovely venue and building but mostly catering to the older dinner crowd, lager drinking tourists and coverbands.

I am in part from Skagen, it will always be my hometown. That is why I am very proud of our brewery. The brewpub is more of a dinnerplace for the casual beer fan, and not really for beer geeks.

The craftbeer revolution has reached Skagen as well. Brughuset opened in the old powerstation in 2005 and is a great place to go if you want short-traveled beer!

This is my favorite of them all. Yes there are lots of arguments one way or another, but this is my danish hometown. Try Skagen Bundgarn, a porter at 6.5% and Gl. Skagen, india pale ale at 6%. Great!

Music on Saturdays 15-18. Great beer, beats Carlsberg anytime.
