Beautiful unspoilt pub that is listed on the national inventory of historic pub interiors. Simple but excellent food on offer. Great real ales.

A small pub, run by the same family since the 1960s. The soups are famous although the ingredients are less well known. There is a collection of pub guides in one corner including 4 copies from 1995!

Turn left through the door if you want cosy, candle-lit room with fireplaces and hush chat. Turn right if you want a lighter room with games and locals chatting at the bar. Both brilliant!

Very nice spread of Ales, Highly recommended. Good simple food served at lunch! (home made soup and sandwiches)
