Right outside of MayKhaLar is horsecart driver Mr Titi. (Horsecart No. 100). He's awesome! Speaks some French + Jap & more English than most ppl here. He's also lively & great company. Recommended.

This family-run business is friendly and can give you tourist information in English. The tea-house across the street serves amazing salad dishes - one of the best food we've had since here.

Best reason to stay here is the Internet speed is decent for Myanmar. In fact Bagan has the fastest speeds of anywhere we have tried in this country.
