Please fix up the path to the beach.It is a safety problem and the Municipality could be sued for negligence. Great pity as the rest of Strand Beach is so clean and well maintained. Regards Frank

Strand is the best Swimming beach in the Cape Province, and to get the best waves you need to go swimming at high tide which is very early morning or late afternoons. Other times great for long walks

Careful when walking near the western end, they've changed the fence but left buried in the sand rusted wires and irons.

The Melkbaai beach in Strand is one of the best bathing beaches in the Western Cape - which is really saying something! Warmer waters, calm and shallow.
