An interesting hotel alternative when Hannover is overbooked and so Hildesheim. No luxury but the essencial, a good bed and a good bath.

As a matter of fact, it's a restaurant with some rooms where you can stay a couple of nights but no problem with that! People are really nice, it's easy to feel like home there.
