Make sure you stay in the remodeled section and NOT the old circa 1960s rooms that haven't been updated since the grand opening. Oh, except for the 19" tube TV which was probably purchased in 1988

Don't waste your time with the complimentary lobby "breakfast". Bad coffee and packaged hostess cakes from 7-11.

If traveling with guy dog, housekeeping won't provide service if you're not in the room with your guide. Difficult to go to the beach, unless you skip room cleaning, or wait around for them to come.

Steps from the beach, there are awesome rooms here, always a dog-friendly location!
