went out of my room to the reception at 1am to find it completely empty. no humans. i could hear my own fart echo across the vast empty space.

Quite a distance from the Toya JR Station. Recommend to reserve the shuttle or need at least 5,500 Yen taxi fees to go.

The Hotel with breathtaking panoramic view. Breakfast buffet at Windsor Hall is amazing. Soba Restaurant serves great quality foods, too.

慣れないドライブの疲れもあり、子供の寝かしつけで両親とも道連れ、夜の温泉を逃す。朝風呂を目指すことに。夜は11時まで、朝は6時から。
