Very large open area for a Bay Area park, even when local sports games are on, there's plenty of room to hike a few balls, throw frisbee or watch the dog walkers have their dogs chase around RC cars.

The park is also called Hot Dog Park. The large dog statue by the play structure gets really heated on warm days thus the name...
