It's only 21 RMB from here to Sofia Church. Don't bother with buses at all. Just grab a cab and enjoy. Also, don't go here with phone camera during the night. It is not worth it. Bring DSLR for that.

Bought my ticket from Heilongjiang Songhuajiang Int'l Travel Agency (15045012202 / 045184845603 / 河润街85-2号) for only RMB 300 and even get a free bus ride that leave at 5 pm and come back at 8 or 9 pm.

Amazing Place !! Totally Worth It !! If your camera battery dies, take the battery from the camera for a while and warm it on your pocket, then should be Ok..

Beautiful, but incredibly cold, your camera battery will die v quickly in this weather - try & keep your camera warm, take breaks to warm up, pre-arrange return travel as taxis can be tough to get.

Talk about price inflation, entry price is RMB 330 per person. It's a bit expensive for what it is. Be prepared to be accosted after entry by photographers and people asking if you want a sled ride.
