Lots of history here! It's a good metal detecting spot.

It was designed by Frederick Olmsted, the same architect who designed NY's Central Park.

Monday Night Jazz & the Hartford Jazz Festival are the annual highlights @ Bushnell Park. The vibe is right & the food is awesome. Great multicultural events. And yeah, the carousel is beautiful😎

Don't come before the sun is fully up, but it is a beautiful park to spend time in.

Visit the side over by the Capitol... Better maintained grounds and less sketchballs.

Check out the merry-go-round! Great place to bring kids on hot days in the summer, has a mini water play-place!

First public city park, created by the same designer who brought Central Park to New York City. Young (and young at heart) will love the old 1914 carousel where you can ride for only $1!
