This State Park is amazing! It totally exceeded my expectations! Docent tour of house and then the mine by Bob - he's awesome. Plan to go back to Filoli to see how the Bournes lived! 💵 💰

Great place for photos. Be sure to step down in the mineshaft. The tour is okay for adults, opt for the short movie if you have young ones, or follow the self-guided tour. Great trails, bring a picnic

I enjoyed seeing the beautiful estate grounds, the metalsmith and the mine shaft but the lengthy speaking tour was pretty dry for the 4 and 6 year olds we had in tow. Still, a fascinating look back.

At $7 a person, and with it raining, we decided not to go in!

Explore the biggest, oldest, and richest mine from California's past. See some of the 367 miles of mine shafts and check out the beautiful owner's cottage and surrounding gardens.
