Avoid some of the crowds on Forrest Mall if you are going from the MU to the art and design buildings by taking the path on the left side of the lawn. Parts of the sidewalk are slippery though.

Interested in tight-rope walking? Well neither am I! Some people are though! And those people hang out on Hayden Lawn. Stop by and say hi, or laugh at them, or join in on the "fun"! Whatever you feel!

Cheap place to buy gifts for people. Different vendors throughout the week come and go. You can catch some sun while reading a book in the middle of campus or you can draw in the grass if you want to.

Always have vendors or fairs going on to get more involved with the university or housing. Just a great place to enjoy the great weather Tempe as to offer year round.

Every year there is a housing fair on Hayden Lawn that apartments around Tempe participate in for students to find a place to live. March 23-24 2011 was when it was held this year. Free giveaways.

Great place to relax between classes or watch people try to walk on tight ropes.

Hayden lawn has a lot of great, cheap book sales throughout the week and various vendors that come to campus. If you have time to spare throughout the day, check it out!
