Its not the dam,you gotta check the ring roads and the inner kava inside the forest. I had never scene such a beautiful place in any near. Place offer full peace to your mind. Place of happiness.

So it's one of the cool places to visit if you are visiting Palakkad. Go at evening time to enjoy the cool climate. U can also visit villages in forests around the dam in boats. Surely you will enjoy!
