Getting a season pass is the best. Sometimes we make a last minute trip and spend only an hour or two and we don't feel that we have to stay all day as we would if we paid to get in.

Great zoo! So many animals to see. Most don't like that there's a lot of walking but I love it. You can feed the giraffes in the warmer months.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is full of educational displays, with plenty of indoor exhibits to make it worth a visit, even on rainy days. Be advised, thy do require ID if you pay with a credit card.

Be sure to bring water bottles for those extra hot days. The paths at the zoo can be long and hot. Always love seeing the big cats.

Savanna Watering Hole = Beer/Drinks!Usually of the "Twisted Tea" or Mike's Hard variety. Sits at the fork in the road between path to giraffes and the path to Northern Trek.

Love the zoo. So much to see and do. Great improvements from when I was a young girl. Great way to spend the day. You're sure to see your favorite animal or find a new favorite.

Make sure to wait for the tram before walking up that steep hill to the left, unless you want the workout. There is space for your stroller too.

Did you know? In the early years, the zoo had mostly local animals, like American deer. Later, the zoo built sea lion, monkey and bear exhibits and got Freida, its first elephant, in 1940.
