This is the home of the film, "We Bought A Zoo". Benjamin Mee is a real man, and his family did buy and rescue this zoo from closure. (If you're lucky, you might even meet him.)

Very nice idea but many of the animals weren't very visible but it made a nice stop off while waiting to check into our hotel

Really recommend you do a zoo experience day, me and my brother had an amazing day seeing the behind the scenes on the zoo.

The tigers really are fabulous, best tiger experience I've ever had at a zoo.
