Bring your own bags; otherwise, it's 10 cents for each plastic bag (they're larger and thicker than regular ones), or a buck for a big fabric one.

The produce is really cheap (bananas are 3 pounds for a dollar!), and although the quality can vary, it can be pretty decent. Stop here on your way to Safeway.
