Inside the station: load your Gautrain card on/at off-peak dates/times, or at other stations (if you're not using your contactless bank card for trips). Outside the station: be streetwise/alert.

Gautrain cards do expire (IKR?!!). Make sure you use it at least once a year. Or don't put all your savings on it

There's usually long queues to reload during peak hours. If it's up to you, reload at other stations. Like Sandton or Rosebank

Delayed for 30 minutes as only one track was working - this was my first and last time on the Gautrain! IT was so wobbly in made me feel sick!

Of you are travelling anywhere near a Rea Vaya station check if u can grab on from Park station to work. They are fast and effective
