A waypoint in the Thuringian forest, with a ruined GDR Gastropub (replaced by a buffet) - many ways to choose from here, one of them to Wartburg castle that leads you through the "Dragon gorge".

Gute Zwischenstation oder auch Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf dem Rennsteig. Imbisshütte ist auch vorhanden.
