At rush hour, trains often come back to back. Typically, people rush the first train. Consider waiting an extra couple minutes for the second train and have a greater chance of scoring a seat.

With the West LRT open, this is no longer the last free fare zone station. Now the Downtown Kirby station is the last free stop, unless you're on a Crowfoot bound train.
