There's some really sketchy people waiting around the turnstiles when it's not rush hour. Try to avoid them.

Make sure you always have a metrocard when you come to his station either the machine is out of service not taking cash or only taking change or the line for the booth is crazy or its closed

If u know u need to refill ur metrocard, do it the night before or in the afternoon. The AM commute lines at the booth & machine are insane - you'll miss your train & be late!

You can also grab a Metro Card from one of the bodegas in the area: Good to know when there's long lines at the booth and machines.
