The only Amtrak station in the country with two station codes, LAK for travel to and from the north. LKL for travel to and from the south. Bizarre! They won't let you buy a roundtrip ticket to Tampa.

Cute station, poor service. I unloaded my bags off the cart myself, then after I had everything, the attendant offered to put everything back on the cart and take it downstairs for me. #2little2late

Hide the drugs if you do get off at Lakeland station. Located right next door to Lakeland police department.
