CTA cleans and power wash the stations in the early mornings on certain days. So the Jackson stop doesn’t smell bad like it use too.

If switching to the Red Line (or catching the Blue Line) late at night/early in the morning, try to get on the first car for safety. If anything goes wrong, the conductor is right there.

Its nice to walk the platform from jackson to washington during the winter to avoid the cold
